RoadRelay
Data Extraction
What should I do if I see
a "Memory Full" or "Memory Almost Full" warning
message?
This indicates
that the RoadRelay has reached or has come close to reaching its
maximum data memory capacity and the data should be extracted from
the RoadRelay or it may be lost. Perform a data extraction using
PowerSpec software for RoadRelay 5 or INFORM/INSPEC software for RoadRelay 4 or reset the
trip information
to remove the data from the RoadRelay. To
reset the RoadRelay 4 trip information you must press key 6 (Pages), scroll down
using key 7 (down arrow), and select the reset trip option (press the
enter key).
Do I need a special cable
to extract data from the RoadRelay with?
Not for the RoadRelay 5. Only for the RoadRelay 4, you will need to order the
optional RS-232 data extraction cable (P/N
4003775) from your local
Cummins distributor.
